Last night was the first official playtesting session for Underfoot! I was able to get a variety of players at the table- two experts, one casual player, and one who had never touched a tabletop role-playing game until that day! We ran through the sample one-shot that will be provided with the final game, and it was so rewarding to see how much of the game really clicked for the table. Our combat system is going to be going through some changes (weapons were too weak, and defensive materials too strong), but I'm happy to report that I am full of ideas and ready for the next round of playtesting this Wednesday. Finally, a big THANK YOU to my playtesters, and to my dear friends (Lee Tew and Gideon McDonald) that have agreed to help me out and provide their writing skills for edits and additions.
